Student Council Elections: Fostering Leadership and Voice
Dates 6th June to 20th June 2025
The annual school council elections were a vibrant display of student leadership in action. Aspirants campaigned with creativity and passion, putting forward ideas to enhance school life. Positions such as Prefect Girl/Boy, Sports and SEWA captains and Vice Captains and House Captains saw enthusiastic participation. From inspiring speeches to colourful posters and friendly debates, the campaign season energized the student body.
Voting day was marked by democratic spirit and anticipation, culminating in the election of dedicated student representatives. These elections play a vital role in nurturing responsibility, confidence, and collaboration among students.
An investiture ceremony, a formal event where newly elected leaders are officially given a position of authority, responsibility, or recognition. It involved the conferring of titles, badges, sashes, and an oath of office. The investiture ceremony installed the school’s trust and confidence in their ability to lead.
