Industrial Field Visit to Paramount Nutrition Pvt. Ltd., Bidadi
The Grade 9 and 10 students had an enriching industrial field visit to Paramount Nutrition Private Limited, Bidadi, Bengaluru, a contract packaging (C.P.) unit associated with Britannia Biscuits. The visit provided valuable insights into modern food manufacturing and packaging processes.
The students were guided by Mr. Edwin, who explained every stage of production with great clarity and patience. Before entering the facility, strict hygiene protocols were followed. All visitors were required to wear caps, masks, and gloves, highlighting the company’s commitment to food safety and cleanliness.
The highly mechanized production unit showcased advanced technology and efficient manufacturing practices. Students observed the complete journey of biscuit production—from procurement of raw materials to processing, quality checks, packaging, and dispatch. The systematic workflow and automation impressed everyone.
The visit was both educational and inspiring, helping students understand industrial operations, quality standards, and career opportunities in the food processing industry.
