NPSW Observes World Environment Day 2026
In keeping with the theme for World Environment Day 2026,“Inspired by Nature.For Climate. For Our Future.”, and the global campaign message #Now For Climate, NPSW commemorated the occasion with great reverence and a steadfast commitment to environmental stewardship. The observance aligned with the initiatives of the United Nations Environment Programme(UNEP), with the Republic of Azerbaijan serving as the global host in Baku.
Students of Class IX presented a compelling play that underscored the significance of nature-based solutions in addressing the challenges of climate change.
Complementing this effort, students from Classes VI to X participated in an awareness rally, raising slogans and sensitising the community to the pressing need for environmental conservation.
As a tangible expression of their commitment to sustainability, students across all classes contributed saplings, which were subsequently planted in and around the school campus. The celebrations served to nurture environment consciousness among students and reaffirmed our collective responsibility to safeguard the planet for the well-being of future generations.
