To promote healthier lifestyle habits and raise awareness on the impact of excessive sugar intake, National Public School, West proudly participated in the CBSE-led Sugar Board Awareness Campaign, a nationwide initiative introduced under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
In his 122nd episode of Mann Ki Baat, Prime Minister Modi acknowledged and praised this effort, stating:
“You must have seen blackboards in schools, but now ‘sugar boards’ are also being installed—not blackboard, but sugar board! The aim of this unique initiative of CBSE is to make children aware of their sugar intake. By understanding how much sugar should be consumed and how much sugar is being consumed, children have started choosing healthy options themselves.”
He further emphasized the importance of such efforts in nurturing a Fit India, beginning with the country’s youngest citizens.
