FIRE EVACUATION MOCK DRILL – 2025-26

FIRE EVACUATION MOCK DRILL

NATIONAL PUBLIC SCHOOL WEST- 2025-26

A fire evacuation mock drill was conducted at National Public School West on September 8th, during the 9th period, for students from UKG to Grade 9. As the emergency siren was blown, students promptly assembled and proceeded to the school ground in an orderly manner. Under the clear guidance of teachers and support staff, all students evacuated their classrooms safely within a few minutes.

The drill aimed to familiarise students with essential safety procedures and ensure preparedness in case of real emergencies. The activity was carried out smoothly and successfully, reflecting the school’s strong commitment to student safety and disaster readiness.

Conducting regular fire evacuation mock drills plays a vital role in strengthening the safety culture within the school. These drills help students understand the importance of staying calm during emergencies and train them to respond quickly and responsibly. They also allow teachers and staff to evaluate the effectiveness of evacuation routes and identify areas for improvement. By practising these procedures in a controlled environment, the school ensures that every member of the community is better prepared, confident, and capable of acting swiftly in real-life situations.
